Contact Traben Bass
Trabenbass.com, as you can already tell, is my love letter to the world of bass players.
Keep in touch
We are all in love with the same woman. This woman is called the bass guitar. And there are, of course, many different ways to express our love and appreciation. This is my humble homage.
As you can tell, this is a very humble homage. It is not the end all and be all digital Mecca to everything related to the bass guitar. With that said, it more than holds its own. I mean, there are several hundred pages here.
This did not come easy. A lot of the stuff was actually gathered over several years. I took all these notes, then I sat down and put them together to be uploaded to a website. In fact, I had so many notes that I had to hire a virtual assistant from the Philippines to make some sense out of these random scribblings that I had.
And if you write music, you know exactly where I’m coming from. It can get quite chaotic. Sometimes it can get so bad that you really can’t tell whether a chicken wrote the music or you scratched something together.
Well, anyway, I was lucky enough to connect with a very driven, eager music fan from the Philippines who is my virtual assistant and she was able to make heads or tails of all these random notes. And what you see is much a tribute to her hard work than it is to my inspiration.

With that said, there is always room for improvement. As you probably already know, when you go to any kind of website, there are certain pages that are linked together in a not so optimal way. Maybe they don’t flow into the same theme, maybe they’re not exactly logically related, or maybe when you click on a link, it doesn’t go to where you want it to go. If you run into any of those issues, please fill out the form below. I’d like to hear from you.
I am dedicated to helping bass players from all over the world get the inspiration they need to play beautiful delicious music. And if it means that I have to fix all the bugs in this website, then so be it.
But please understand that I am just one person. I can’t automatically scour every single page on this website to get to the bottom of every potential bug. That’s where you come in. When you check out the content here and you notice that there are certain issues, do let me know.
I’m not going to take it as an insult. I’m not going to take it as an offense. In fact, you are helping me out. Sure, it’s egg on my face and it definitely makes me look sloppy, but guess what? This is a labor of love.
I’m sure you’re going to cut me some slack and you’re going to appreciate the fact that I’ve compiled all this stuff from many years of bass playing and bass experimentation so that the global bassist community can get enough inspirational material together to really step up their game to the next level.
And if I did my modest part in making that happen, I think I would have done my job. But to make that happen, I need your technical help because it really boils down to simple debugging. If certain pages don’t load right or certain materials are misclassified, I definitely need to know.
Now, does this mean that I’m just going to get all your feedback and get right to the problem as soon as possible? Well, I also have a day job. I also have a family to take care of and feed. I have a baby boy that I love like anything in the world, and of course, it’s taking quite a bit of my time.
But rest assured, however, that when I do get free time, the issues that get reported the most will be handled first. Sound like a deal? Good. Fill out the form below and help me out. Together, we can whip trabenbass.com into shape.
